Yellow Rock Road Upgrade

The project includes reconstruction of the existing corridor, as well as new road pavement and pedestrian paths, and improved intersections, drainage and parking. to support surrounding residential growth. Together, these works aim to enhance safety and connectivity for all road users.

In 2023, Tree Survey was engaged by Shellharbour City Council to provide specialist arboricultural input across planning and construction activities.

To start, we undertook a Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to establish accurate tree locations, structure and condition, supported by clear and consistent plans.

This informed an Arboricultural Impact Assessment to identify likely construction interactions, followed by the preparation of a Tree Protection Plan to provide practical guidance for site works.

Ultimately, this documentation established a reliable framework for managing tree-related constraints alongside civil works, enabling better coordination between teams and supporting steady progress throughout the upgrade. All services were delivered on schedule and within budget.
