Wakehurst Parkway Improvements (Narrabeen)

Crucially, Wakehurst Parkway runs through heavily vegetated areas in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. In 2024, lead contractor Arcadis engaged Tree Survey to provide specialist arboricultural support during the upgrade’s planning and assessment stages.

First, our team completed a Tree Survey and GIS Analysis to map precise tree locations throughout the project’s footprint. This was supported by a Preliminary Tree Assessment, which recorded tree health, structure and condition.

An Arboricultural Impact Assessment was then prepared to review how proposed safety upgrades, intersection works, and flood immunity improvements could affect existing vegetation.

Finally, we developed a site-specific Tree Protection Plan to guide tree retention management during future construction.

These reports provided project teams with accurate tree data, clear mapping, and targeted protection advice to support road planning within one of the Northern Beaches’ most environmentally sensitive corridors. All services were delivered on time and within budget.
