Led by joint venture contractors John Holland and Seymour Whyte, the $2.6 billion project involved complex construction within a highly constrained transport corridor at Mascot, as well as significant vegetation removal to make way for new road links.
In 2021, Tree Survey was brought in to provide specialist arboricultural services throughout planning and construction.
Our work began with field-based tree surveys and preliminary assessments to accurately record tree locations, condition and attributes across the corridor. This data informed subsequent impact assessments, clearly identifying where proposed works intersected with existing vegetation.
Detailed Tree Protection Plans were also prepared to translate findings into practical site controls, supported by ongoing Project Arborist Services during construction.
Our work focused on delivering precise tree data, reliable assessments and clear documentation to support confident decision-making and coordinated delivery across project teams. All services were delivered on schedule and within budget.
