The Subiaco Creek Stormwater Upgrade in Beecroft, NSW, forms part of the City of Parramatta’s Stormwater & Catchment Asset Management Plan. This specific project aims to improve drainage performance and manage flood risk within the local creek catchment.

As the site is located near an active waterway corridor, works need to account for creek bank stability, erosion control, existing trees and surrounding vegetation.

In 2024, the City of Parramatta engaged Tree Survey to provide specialist arboricultural services throughout the upgrade’s planning stage.

We started with a Tree Survey to accurately map tree locations across the site. Next, GIS Analysis gave the project team detailed spatial data and clear mapping to support planning around existing vegetation and proposed stormwater works.

Our team then carried out an Arboricultural Impact Assessment to determine how the upgrade could impact trees within and near the work area.

Finally, we created a site-specific Tree Protection Plan, outlining practical measures to help protect retained trees during future works.

These services were completed on time and within budget. In turn, project teams received accurate data and practical guidance to support efficient project delivery.
