The Springfield Road Upgrade is a planned infrastructure project led by Camden Council in Catherine Field near Leppington, NSW. Funded by the State Voluntary Planning Agreement, this critical piece of future transport infrastructure for the South West Growth Area will connect directly to the proposed Rickard Road extension.

More specifically, Springfield Road will become a four-lane sub-arterial route to support population growth, improve local access and strengthen connections between residential and employment precincts.

In 2024, Tree Survey was engaged by lead contractor Beca to provide professional arboricultural input during the project’s planning stages.

Our scope included a Tree Survey, GIS Analysis and Preliminary Tree Assessment to document tree locations, health, structure and condition across the project area.

We also prepared an Arboricultural Impact Assessment to review potential impacts from the proposed works, along with a Tree Protection Plan to guide future vegetation management.

This precise documentation equipped the project team with reliable tree data, clear mapping and practical protection measures. All services were provided on time and within budget.
