The Soper Place Car Park Upgrade was a proposed project for Penrith City Council in response to long-term parking demand and anticipated growth within the city centre.
This initiative explored the redevelopment of the existing Soper Place car park into a substantially larger, multi-level facility. The goal was to integrate parking infrastructure into the surrounding civic, commercial and public domain context rather than treating it as a standalone structure.
In 2021, Tree Survey was engaged during the planning phase to provide specialist arboricultural services.
Our scope included a Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to accurately document existing trees across the site, followed by an Arboricultural Impact Assessment to highlight potential effects of the proposed works on surrounding vegetation.
We finished with a project-specific Tree Protection Plan to advise tree retention measures and construction limits.
Delivered on time and on budget, our arboricultural reports helped to inform project planning within this constrained city-centre site.
