Camden Council’s Rickard Road upgrade aims to deliver a key north–south transport link within the South West Growth Area. To enhance capacity, safety and connectivity between Leppington and Catherine Fields, works will include road widening, upgraded intersections and off-road pathways for pedestrians and cyclists.

In 2023, lead contractor Beca engaged Tree Survey to provide specialist arboricultural services across both planning and construction phases.

First, we completed a Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to capture precise tree locations, structure and condition, supported by clear and accurate mapping.

This was followed by an Arboricultural Impact Assessment to assess potential construction impacts, as well as the preparation of a Tree Protection Plan to guide site works.

Delivered on time in close coordination with project teams, these professional insights provided the precise data and practical documentation needed to inform decision-making throughout the $23M upgrade.
