The Rickard Road Upgrade is a proposed $23 million infrastructure project in Leppington, NSW. Led by Camden Council, this upgrade plans to extend and improve the road corridor between Bringelly Road and Oran Park Drive. The goal is to help reduce travel times, improve road safety and boost connectivity within Sydney’s South West Growth Area.
In 2024, the project’s lead contractor, Beca, hired Tree Survey to deliver specialist arboricultural services during its initial phase.
Our scope included a detailed Tree Survey, GIS Analysis and Preliminary Tree Assessment, providing project teams with accurate tree data, mapped locations and a clear understanding of existing tree condition.
We also prepared an Arboricultural Impact Assessment to review how proposed works may affect retained and removed trees, along with a Tree Protection Plan to guide protection requirements during construction.
These services were completed on schedule and within budget. Ultimately, we combined accurate field assessment with clear spatial information to help guide decisions around vegetation management in its subsequent stages.
