The Revesby Commuter Car Park extension was built by Transport for NSW to expand parking capacity and boost access at a busy suburban interchange.
Delivered under the NSW Government’s Commuter Car Park Program, this project supports wider efforts to ease road congestion with convenient and accessible public transport facilities.
The works, led by contractor DesignInc., included construction of several additional storeys with an extra 385 parking spaces, new pedestrian crossings, and extensions to the lift, stairs and ramps.
In 2021, Tree Survey was engaged to provide specialist arboricultural services during the extension’s planning phase.
Our services included a detailed Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to record existing vegetation, as well as an Arboricultural Impact Assessment to identify where the proposed car park footprint intersected with trees and landscape features.
Lastly, a tailored Tree Protection Plan was created to outline protection measures and construction boundaries for vegetation on and adjacent to the site.
These arboricultural insights provided precise tree information, locations and requirements that supported the car park’s design, approvals and construction planning. All services were delivered within budget and on time.
