The Orchard Road Reserve Stormwater Upgrade in Beecroft, NSW, supported the City of Parramatta’s ongoing work to improve local drainage and park infrastructure.
Set within an established natural reserve and drainage corridor, this project needed to balance stormwater upgrades with the protection of vegetation and waterway health.
In 2024, lead contractor Narla Environmental enlisted Tree Survey to provide specialist arboricultural services during the upgrade’s initial stages.
Our team first carried out a Tree Survey to accurately map tree locations throughout the reserve. Additionally, a GIS Analysis gave the project team detailed spatial data and clear mapping to support planning around existing vegetation.
We then performed an Arboricultural Impact Assessment to examine how the proposed stormwater works could affect surrounding trees. We also developed a site-specific Tree Protection Plan to detail practical protection measures that would help safeguard retained trees.
These services were completed on time and within budget. Ultimately, our precise documentation and actionable insights helped to support streamlined project delivery.
