The $157M Meadowbank TAFE Multi Trades and Digital Technology Hub brings together building, construction, engineering and manufacturing disciplines within one cutting-edge facility.
Delivered within the operational Meadowbank Education and Employment Precinct, this bespoke development features workshops, industry engagement spaces, staff workplaces, meeting rooms, a café, student facilities, a 200-space car park, and landscaping.
In 2020, Hansen Yuncken enlisted Tree Survey to provide arboricultural services throughout the hub’s site planning and construction phases.
Our initial services included a Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to establish accurate baseline information for surrounding vegetation.
An Arboricultural Impact Assessment was then prepared to examine the interaction between proposed construction activities and retained trees, informing design responses and construction methodologies.
Lastly, we presented a tailored Tree Protection Plan to document tree management requirements during site works.
Working alongside the project team, Tree Survey delivered reliable arboricultural information that could be readily used by designers, planners and site personnel.
This ensured tree-related considerations were clearly understood and managed throughout approvals and construction. All services were performed on schedule and within budget.
