Lakeside Gledswood Hills is a boutique master-planned community by Stockland in Sydney’s South West growth corridor. It’s been carefully designed around natural waterways and parklands, with green spaces serving as important recreation hubs.
In 2024, landscape architects Realm Studios brought in Tree Survey to provide specialist arboricultural advice for park upgrades within the development.
We carried out a rigorous Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment, accurately locating existing trees and recording their condition, structure and retention value.
Clear, precise drawings supported an Arboricultural Impact Assessment, which examined the relationship between proposed landscape works and surrounding trees to help guide design decisions.
A Tree Protection Plan then established practical measures to safeguard retained trees throughout construction, helping reduce potential impacts to root zones, trunks and canopies.
All services were delivered on time and within budget. These insights equipped Realm Studios to plan and deliver new landscape elements around established trees while retaining existing vegetation as an integral part of the parkland design.
