The Lake Jindabyne Foreshore is a major recreational and tourism destination in the Snowy Mountains. Its upgrade covers 65 hectares and aims to improve connections, public spaces and leisure facilities along the water’s edge.

Plans include a shared user path, cultural and educational trail, improved foreshore connections and upgrades to key areas including the Sailing Club, Claypits, Waterfront Park and Banjo Paterson Park.

In 2025, Tree Survey delivered specialist arboricultural services to inform lead contractor GroupGSA’s landscape design and delivery across the foreshore.

Next, we completed a detailed Tree Survey, GIS Analysis and Preliminary Tree Assessment to precisely map existing trees and provide key information on their condition and structure.

An Arboricultural Impact Assessment then examined how proposed works could affect surrounding trees and guide planning decisions. We also prepared a Tree Protection Plan with site-specific protocols to help retain trees during future works.

All of our services were completed on time and within budget. These insights gave GroupGSA the reliable arboricultural information needed to efficiently deliver new public spaces around established lakefront vegetation.
