The King Georges Road and Canterbury Road Intersection Upgrade aimed to improve traffic flow and safety at a heavily trafficked metropolitan intersection.
Funded under Transport For NSW’s $240M program to strengthen Sydney’s arterial road network, this Wiley Park project widened Canterbury Road and added two new right-turn lanes onto King Georges Road in both directions.
In 2020, Tree Survey was appointed by lead contractor Arenco (NSW) Pty Limited to deliver arboricultural expertise across the project’s planning and construction phases.
Our services commenced with a comprehensive Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to establish accurate baseline data on existing trees in the area.
An Arboricultural Impact Assessment was then prepared to assess how proposed works could affect retained trees and to support informed decision-making during design development.
We also developed a tailored Tree Protection Plan, providing clear documentation to guide construction activities around vegetation.
Working closely with the 395-strong project team, Tree Survey delivered accurately documented, technically robust arboricultural information to support construction approvals, construction and efficiency. All of our services were completed on time and within budget.
