The Kent Street On-Ramp project at Milsons Point is set to improve accessibility and safety for more than 1,500 cyclists who cross Sydney Harbour Bridge every day. This ramp will replace the existing staircase at the northern end of the bridge, serving as a step-free connection to the CBD’s cycleway.
In 2023, Transport for NSW engaged Tree Survey to provide specialist arboricultural input during the project’s design and planning phases. Our team undertook a detailed Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to record the health, structure and location of existing trees within the project footprint.
This data informed a comprehensive Arboricultural Impact Assessment and the preparation of a tailored Tree Protection Plan, ensuring vegetation considerations were clearly defined before any works commence.
These services were completed on time and within budget. Equipped with our detailed mapping, technical assessments and clear reporting, Transport for NSW was able to move forward with a well-considered upgrade for one of Sydney’s most iconic cycling routes.
