The Kellyville Ridge Noise Wall project in Sydney’s north-west was commissioned by Transport for NSW to reduce traffic noise for nearby residents and improve overall amenity along a busy commuter corridor.
Located within the City of Blacktown, this project formed part of ongoing upgrades to manage the impacts of urban growth across Greater Western Sydney.
In 2022, Tree Survey was engaged by lead contractor WSP Australia to provide specialist arboricultural support during the planning and design stages.
Our team conducted a detailed Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to identify and record existing vegetation, tree health and structure along the proposed wall alignment.
This informed an Arboricultural Impact Assessment, which evaluated how the works might affect surrounding trees, and guided the development of a tailored Tree Protection Plan to ensure safe construction around retained vegetation.
Tree Survey’s comprehensive mapping and practical guidance enabled WSP Australia and Transport for NSW to construct the Kellyville Ridge Noise Wall with a clear understanding of vegetation constraints. Our services were delivered within budget and on schedule.
