Jamberoo Action Park is one of NSW’s leading attractions, located just one hour south of Sydney. Its $25 million expansion, known as Kangaroo Island, featured seven new water-based rides, a 1,700-space car park and alterations to the park entry.

Set within a natural landscape between the escarpment and the coastline, these works required professional arboricultural advice to support planning, construction and tree protection.

In 2024, Jamberoo Action Park hired Tree Survey to provide specialist arboricultural services throughout the project.

Our team completed a Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to record tree locations, health, structure and site conditions.

We then conducted an Arboricultural Impact Assessment to assess potential impacts from the proposed works, as well as a bespoke Tree Protection Plan to guide the management of retained trees during construction.

All services were delivered on schedule and within budget. Ultimately, these prompt, precise and practical insights supported an efficient park expansion.
