Gubbuh Gubbuh is a prominent harbour headland in Mosman, nestled on the northern side of Sydney Harbour. Its Renewal Project guides the long-term transformation of one of NSW’s most significant natural and cultural precincts.

Led by the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust, the master plan will improve public access, protect the headland’s bushland and heritage values, and create new opportunities to experience the site’s First Nations and military history.

In 2025, Tree Survey was engaged to provide specialist arboricultural advice as planning for this $14M renewal progressed.

Our team began by completing a Tree Survey and GIS Analysis to precisely map existing trees across the project area, supported by a Preliminary Tree Assessment documenting tree health and structure.

An Arboricultural Impact Assessment then examined potential impacts from the proposed works. Finally, a Tree Protection Plan established practical measures for retained trees during construction.

All of these assessments were delivered on time and within budget. Our clear and accurate insights helped to inform renewal planning and delivery in a sensitive landscape.
