The Griffith Park Community Centre project will create a civic and recreational hub opposite Bankstown Arts Centre on its southern edge.

Following an architectural design competition, the winning concept combines a multipurpose community centre with upgraded public open space, water-sensitive landscape features, and improved access.

In 2025, Tree Survey was engaged by Collins & Turner in 2025 to provide specialist arboricultural advice during this new design’s planning stage.

To begin, our team completed a Tree Survey and GIS Analysis that accurately mapped existing trees across the park. This was supported by a Preliminary Tree Assessment documenting tree health and structure.

An Arboricultural Impact Assessment then identified potential impacts from the proposed development, while a Tree Protection Plan shared practical measures for retained trees during future works.

These assessments will help project teams to execute the upgrade efficiently around the established park vegetation. All reports were delivered on time and within budget.
