The Edmondson Avenue Upgrade in Austral, NSW, is one of south-western Sydney’s largest road improvement projects. Delivered under Liverpool City Council’s Delivery Program and Operational Plan, this $59M project aims to transform Edmondson Avenue with two additional lanes and new intersections for improved safety and traffic flow.
In 2024, lead contractor Stantec engaged Tree Survey to provide comprehensive arboricultural services throughout the project’s planning phase. Our team undertook a detailed Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to document existing vegetation, tree health and site constraints along the alignment.
This informed a robust Arboricultural Impact Assessment and the development of a tailored Tree Protection Plan to manage retention and removals during construction.
All Tree Survey reports were completed on time and within budget. Through precise mapping, practical guidance and clear documentation, we supported Stantec and Liverpool City Council in delivering an efficient, future-focused road upgrade for the growing Austral community.
