The Dulwich Hill Station Precinct Upgrade was completed for Inner West Council to improve the livability of public spaces surrounding the station precinct.

Managed by lead contractor, Cardno, the project involved road and public domain works designed to better connect surrounding streets, pedestrian routes and cycling links with the station and nearby village centre. Alongside a new plaza, streetscape upgrades included new trees, pavements, and multipurpose lighting.

As these works took place in a constrained urban environment with established infrastructure and mature street trees, Cardno enlisted Tree Survey to deliver arboricultural services during its planning phase.

Our scope included a Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to precisely document existing trees within the precinct, along with an Arboricultural Impact Assessment to identify potential interactions between the proposed works and surrounding vegetation. Lastly, a tailored Tree Protection Plan was created to define protection measures and construction limits.

This arboricultural documentation provided accurate tree information and mapping across the precinct, supporting coordinated project planning and delivery. All of our services were delivered on time and within budget.
