Denman Road Upgrade (Muswellbrook)

Denman Road is an integral link between Muswellbrook and the Golden Highway, providing access for local communities, agricultural activities, and mining operations. With frequent heavy-vehicle use, the upgrade focuses on improving pavement strength, drainage, and overall driving conditions.

Tree Survey was engaged to deliver specialist arboricultural services during this upgrade’s planning and construction stages. To start, our team conducted a detailed Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to record vegetation conditions across the corridor.

Next, an Arboricultural Impact Assessment identified how the works could affect trees in the area, leading to the development of a tailored Tree Protection Plan to guide safe retention, mitigation, and removals where required. Wherever possible, tree hollows were salvaged to help maintain local habitat values.

Ultimately, Tree Survey’s precise mapping and documentation helped to guide construction and capture all tree-related considerations accurately for timely project delivery.
