Located within the existing Cranebrook substation on Andrews Road, this system will use four battery units to store electricity and release it back into the network when needed, including during periods of peak demand.
In 2025, Aurecon Australasia engaged Tree Survey to provide specialist arboricultural services during the project’s planning stage.
Our team undertook a detailed tree survey supported by GIS mapping and a preliminary assessment to accurately record tree locations, conditions, structural integrity and retention significance.
Building on this, an Arboricultural Impact Assessment evaluated the potential effects of the proposed works on surrounding vegetation.
A tailored Tree Protection Plan was then developed, incorporating clear spatial data, established protection zones and practical on-site controls to guide construction activities.
These services were completed on time and within budget. We provided Ausconnex and Aurecon with the detailed, digestible and dependable documentation required to drive efficient project delivery.
