Led by Westlake Punnett & Associates on behalf of Shoalhaven City Council, the Conjola Park Stormwater Upgrade is delivering targeted drainage improvements to ease stormwater flow and reduce localised flooding.

The works included the installation of 260 metres of reinforced concrete stormwater pipe along Cameron Street and Hayward Street, along with associated earthworks within the road reserve.

These activities required careful coordination within constrained corridors, including areas of established vegetation and necessary tree removal to facilitate construction.

In 2023, Tree Survey was brought in to prepare professional arboricultural reports to support planning and design decisions.

Our team carried out a comprehensive Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to establish an accurate record of tree locations, health, and structure within the proposed work areas.

This formed the basis of an Arboricultural Impact Assessment, which identified how drainage works, such as trenching, pipe installation, and access, would interact with nearby trees.

Lastly, we developed a site-specific Tree Protection Plan to guide construction activities and manage tree-related constraints on the site.

All services were delivered within budget and on schedule. Ultimately, these precise arboricultural reports helped to support practical decision-making and smooth project delivery.
