Con O’Keefe Park is located on Russell Street in the Albion Park town centre. This recreational and community hub brings together active sport, open space, aquatic facilities, skating, gardening and a local library.

Its stormwater upgrade sits within the broader Con O’Keefe and Russell Street Precinct Master Plan, which will guide long-term improvements across the park and surrounding public spaces.

In 2024, Shellharbour City Council engaged Tree Survey to provide specialist arboricultural services during the project’s planning stage.

Our team began with a Tree Survey to record accurate tree locations, followed by a Preliminary Tree Assessment to document tree health, structure and condition.

We then prepared an Arboricultural Impact Assessment to assess how the proposed stormwater works could affect existing trees.

Lastly, a site-specific Tree Protection Plan presented practical tree retention guidance ahead of future construction.

Together, these reports gave Council the tree data, mapping and protection measures needed to plan stormwater upgrades with greater precision while safeguarding valuable trees across the precinct. All services were delivered within budget and on schedule.
