The Claypits Car Park Upgrade renewed a popular foreshore precinct on the edge of Lake Jindabyne, improving parking, pedestrian access and public amenities for residents and visitors.

Valued at more than $1.1 million, this project included sealing the car park, upgrading drainage, installing solar-powered LED lighting and constructing new paved pathways.

In 2025, lead contractor Group GSA called in Tree Survey to provide professional arboricultural services throughout project planning and delivery.

Our team completed a Tree Survey, GIS Analysis and Preliminary Tree Assessment to establish precise tree locations and record each tree’s condition, structure and retention value.

An Arboricultural Impact Assessment identified potential impacts associated with the earthworks, drainage, pathways and utility relocations. We then prepared a Tree Protection Plan with accurate mapping, defined protection zones and practical construction measures.

All services were delivered on time and within budget. This work provided reliable tree data, insights and guidance to support efficient project delivery, with the precinct reopening ahead of schedule in December.
