The Charlie Yankos Noise Wall project, delivered in 2023 by Transport for NSW, introduced a new 188-metre barrier in Glenwood. Standing 5 metres high, the wall extends from the access track at Arnold Place past 44 Charlie Yankos Street, serving as an important buffer for the surrounding community.
To ensure efficient delivery, this project required detailed preparation and dependable documentation at every stage. Therefore, principal contractor WSP Australia engaged Tree Survey to provide specialist arboricultural services throughout planning and construction.
We completed a Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to record existing vegetation, followed by an Arboricultural Impact Assessment to identify and evaluate potential impacts. Next, a Tree Protection Plan was developed to guide contractors on-site.
Through rigorous assessments, precise tree mapping, and clear reporting, we supplied project teams with reliable information to make informed decisions. All arborist services were delivered on time and within budget, supporting the wall’s successful completion.
