To address localised flooding and overland flow issues around Cecil Street and reduce downstream impacts towards Trumper Park, the planned works included drainage upgrades, kerb inlet improvements and retaining walls.
In 2024, Tree Survey was engaged by Rhelm to provide specialist arboricultural services during the upgrade’s planning stage.
Our team started by conducting a Tree Survey to record tree locations across the project area, followed by a Preliminary Tree Assessment to document tree health, structure and condition.
Next, an Arboricultural Impact Assessment was prepared to assess how the proposed stormwater works could affect existing trees.
Lastly, we developed a site-specific Tree Protection Plan to direct tree retention measures throughout delivery.
These reports gave the project team accurate tree locations, reliable assessment data and clear protection guidance to support stormwater upgrades within a constrained urban catchment.
