The Buckleys Road Upgrade, commissioned by Shellharbour City Council, set out to create an alternative link between Dunmore Road and Killalea. This new route eases pressure on existing connections, enhances emergency access, and strengthens Shell Cove’s appeal as an accessible tourism destination.

Given the extent of roadside vegetation along the corridor, Council required accurate and defensible arboricultural advice to guide both design and construction. Tree Survey was engaged to deliver this expertise.

Our scope included a Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to map and record tree health and structure, an Arboricultural Impact Assessment to evaluate possible construction effects, and a Tree Protection Plan to detail clear measures for managing retained vegetation on site.

Delivered on time and within budget, our precise findings gave contractors the insights required to proceed efficiently. Ultimately, tree considerations were properly addressed without delaying a project vital to both community safety and regional growth.
