Bowenfels Station Upgrade

This project requires careful planning around heritage buildings, existing trees and surrounding rail infrastructure. In 2024, lead contractor Aurecon Australasia engaged Tree Survey to provide specialist arboricultural services during its planning and assessment stages.

Our team began with a Tree Survey to accurately record tree locations across the historic site. We then performed an Preliminary Tree Assessment to document tree health, structure and condition.

An Arboricultural Impact Assessment was then prepared to identify how proposed works could impact surrounding trees, with a Tree Protection Plan setting out practical requirements for managing retained trees throughout construction.

All services were completed on time and within budget. These precise insights and practical guidance have helped project teams to approach the station’s restoration as efficiently as possible.
