The Bareena Park upgrade, led by Fairfield City Council, transformed a local reserve in Canley Vale into a vibrant and inclusive space for play, exercise and community connection.

Funded by the Public Spaces Legacy Program, this project was part of the Council’s wider endeavour to enhance public parks for locals of all abilities.

Upgrades included outdoor fitness equipment, seating areas, fresh landscaping and a new playground—including a 7.5m koi fish tower.

Lead contractor Narla Environmental engaged Tree Survey early in the planning process to support efficient construction and retain existing vegetation where possible.

Our services included a detailed Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to evaluate tree health and structure, as well as an Arboricultural Impact Assessment to identify risks posed by proposed works. A Tree Protection Plan is followed to guide construction and preserve canopy cover throughout the site.

By supporting thoughtful design and low-impact delivery, Tree Survey helped ensure Bareena Park continues to grow as a valued green space in the heart of Canley Vale. All services were provided on time and within budget.
