The Exeter Station Upgrade aims to improve pedestrian access and safety between Exeter village centre and the railway station in the NSW Southern Highlands.
Funded through Transport for NSW’s Get NSW Active program, the project includes two raised pedestrian crossings on Exeter Road, road drainage improvements and a new footpath connecting the village centre with Exeter Railway Station.
In 2025, Tree Survey was engaged by lead contractor Arup Australia to provide specialist arboricultural support during project planning.
Our team completed a Tree Survey and GIS Analysis to locate existing trees and produce clear mapping across the project area.
A Preliminary Tree Assessment then documented tree health and structure, followed by an Arboricultural Impact Assessment to identify potential impacts from the proposed pedestrian and drainage works.
We also developed a Tree Protection Plan outlining measures to protect retained trees during construction.
These services gave the project team accurate arboricultural information to help integrate the proposed access improvements with existing vegetation along the corridor. All reports were delivered on time and within budget.
