The Constitution Road Infrastructure Upgrade aims to improve access, safety and traffic flow around Meadowbank Station and its surrounding road network.
Phase 1 involves replacing the roundabout at Constitution Road, Bank Street and Meadow Crescent with traffic lights. Works along Bank Street include adding signalised pedestrian crossings, realigning the kerb, widening the footpath, and relocating the Kiss and Ride.
In 2025, WSP Australia enlisted Tree Survey to provide expert arboricultural services during the upgrade’s planning and design.
Our team began with a Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to establish precise tree locations and document each tree’s health, structure and retention value.
We then prepared an Arboricultural Impact Assessment to assess potential impacts associated with excavation, roadworks and changes to pedestrian infrastructure.
Lastly, a detailed Tree Protection Plan provided clear drawings, defined protection zones and practical measures for use during construction.
These services were delivered on schedule, providing WSP Australia and the City of Ryde with clear, reliable insights to guide coordinated project delivery.
