With established trees distributed throughout the reserve, including along paths, open areas, and interface zones, this upgrade required a clear understanding of how proposed works would interact with surrounding vegetation.
In 2023, Tree Survey was engaged to support the upgrade’s planning process with detailed arboricultural insights. We began by conducting a Tree Survey and Preliminary Tree Assessment to establish an accurate baseline of tree position, condition, and structure across the site.
This information underpinned an Arboricultural Impact Assessment, which examined how construction activities such as earthworks, regrading, and access would affect nearby trees. Supporting plans and mapping were developed to clearly communicate constraints and requirements across the project team.
Finally, we developed a fit-for-purpose Tree Protection Plan to guide on-site works and manage tree-related risks during delivery.
All reports were completed on schedule and within budget. In turn, project teams could support decision-making and smooth delivery with clear, accurate arboricultural information.
