The Miller Way Noise Wall was installed to reduce the hum of traffic affecting residents near Windsor Road, which sits within a busy transport corridor that includes the M7 Motorway and the North-West Transitway. In 2023, WSP Australia engaged Tree Survey to provide arboricultural expertise throughout the wall’s planning and construction phases.

We started with a Tree Survey, capturing spatial coordinates and detailed tree data within the proposed work area. This information established a reliable baseline for design and approval documentation.

A Preliminary Tree Assessment was then undertaken to record tree health, structure and management considerations. An Arboricultural Impact Assessment followed, identifying where excavation, footing installation and access requirements could affect existing trees and outlining clear management responses.

Finally, a site-specific Tree Protection Plan was prepared, incorporating accurate mapping and practical protection measures to guide contractors during construction.

The outcome was a precise arboricultural record for the Miller Way corridor, delivered within budget and on schedule. These insights supported compliance requirements, informed construction staging, and provided project teams with clear direction throughout installation.
