Senior Arborist

Daniel Leonard is an experienced consulting arborist who is passionate about trees. He began his journey in the Arboriculture industry in 2010 as a groundsman on a residential Arborist team. He progressed to a climber for several years before moving into project management and eventually operations management for a large tree maintenance company.  Daniel then begun working for Penrith Council as a Tree Management Officer and shortly thereafter moved into the role of Co-ordinator Arboriculture for Blacktown Council. Daniels’s experience both as a Contractor and as a Council Arborist give him a unique perspective of the industry, particularly in relation to the submission of Arboricultural Impact Assessments.Daniel is able to provide the team with a unique perspective of the industry through his experience both as a Contractor and as a Council Arborist. Daniels’s experience includes developing tree asset management systems, tree databases and developing risk-based tree assessment programs for Councils.
